How to record Timesheets for Holiday pay

Time sheets in ParaClock are typically created using “Create Time Sheets”. However, time sheets can also be generated for days that are taken off, such as for holiday pay.

From the Main Menu in ParaClock select “Add Vacations and Earnings (Group Punches)”. A screen will appear (see illustration below).

1.       Select the Pay Group. (Such as HOURLY etc.)

2.       Select which date you want to apply the vacation time to.

3.       Select the vacation earning type.

4.       Enter the number of hours to include on the timesheet.

5.       Place a checkbox beside each employee to create timesheets for. (Each employee selected must already be set up with the selected Earning ID, from step 3)

6.       Select “Create Time Sheets”.

 Reset ParaClock Workstation Time

Applies to: ParaClock

In a network environment, ParaClock will keep the workstation client computers set to the same date and time as that on the server. This is a security measure to prevent users from manipulating the time in order to cheat the punches.

Q: Why is my workstation set one hour different than the server?

A: This results from the server not having the Windows update which corrects the Daylight Savings Time change.
