A: Yes, very easily! Simply select Inventory Transfer from the Main Menu. Here you can see a list of all your warehouses with their respective products. To transfer inventory, select the product you want to move, specify the quantity and destination, and press Transfer!
Q: Can I enter multiple jobs for each Customer?
A: Yes. In Paradigm you can keep separate track of all your jobs and assign each one to it's own customer if you like! You can record lots of job information - from proposal information, to meeting log, and job timing.
Q: How does Paradigm handle foreign exchange?
A: In Paradigm you are able to make a list of all the countries you deal with in your business, and set the exchange value of their dollar to yours. At the time of purchase or sale, you simply select the country of exchange and the amounts are automatically adjusted!
Q: Am I able to block accounting information from the employees that do not work in that department?
A: Yes. Paradigm assigns powerful, easy-to-use security options to each user. Permissions can be set separately for adding, editing, deleting, or printing from any Main Menu Item, or the item can be totally hidden. Users each have a personal password to keep the login secure.
Q: Is it possible to make changes to the contents of an assembly each time I enter it into an invoice?
A: Yes. In our latest version of Paradigm you can custom build the assembly directly from the order or invoice you are creating. This allows you to add or remove items from the assembly and change quantities, costs, and prices - all for a particular order or invoice. This assembly can be posted and the inventory will be adjusted accordingly. You can also track the time that went into this item and print out a bill of materials, showing the cost and price of the assembly.
Q: Does ParaClock run on a network?
A: Yes, ParaClock is a multi-user application and is designed to run on a local area network. You can install ParaClock on as many workstations as you need at no additional cost. Multiple employees can punch the clock from any PC on the network simultaneously.
Q: How do we configure ParaClock to run on a network?

Q: What database does ParaClock use?
A: ParaClock use a Microsoft Access database. The database name is ParaClock.pcs. This is a Microsoft Access mdb file with the extension changed to pcs. To open the database within Access simply double-click on the file and select to open using Microsoft Access.
Q: Are employees able to edit or manipulate there punches?
A: No, not if you have enabled the security feature of ParaClock.
To prevent unauthorized access to the Main Menu, go to the users tab in the security menu and check "Require User Login On Startup". Be sure and enter users and passwords for user(s) that should be authorized for access to the Main Menu.
Q: Can we prevent employees from manipulating the computer clock?
A: When ParaClock is used on a network the time is synchronized with the server (the PC where the database resides) each time the clock is punched.
On Windows 2000/XP machines you can disable access to the computer's date and time by setting an appropriate group policy.
Q: How much does ParaClock cost?
Q: Can punch records be adjusted or added/deleted manually?
A: Yes. This is done by using the "Employee Punch Maintenance" screen. This screen will allow any authorized user to edit, void or add punches both for employees and also for jobs.

A: ParaClock will run on any windows PC with Window 98 or later operating system and at least 32 MB or ram.
